• wktk (wakuteka)
  Stands for ワクワクテカテカ (wakuwakutekateka). “Wakuwaku”is an onomatopoeia for being excited, and “tekateka” for gleaming. It is used to express the feeling of expectation for a good thing that’s going to happen soon, like when you’re waiting to watch a good video while it’s loading, or the state that Tama-chan is in below:

• ktkr (kitakore)
  Means “here it comes.” You say this when something you expected comes up in the video.

• ～すぐる (suguru)
  An alternative to　～過ぎる, which means “too.” Like, when something is too cute, you would say 可愛いすぐる (kawaiisuguru), or, when something is too godly, you would say 神すぐる (kamisuguru).

• wwwwwww (hahahahahahaha)
  Means “LOL.” There’s actually no rules about the number of “w” you use, but I rarely see a “w” alone.

• ちょwwwwww (cho-hahahahaha)
  Stands for ちょっとwwwwwww, which means “Wait… hahahahahaha.” Used when you laugh at something you didn’t expect. Again, no rules about the number of “w.”

• 自重しろ (jichou shiro)
  “Calm down!,” “Pull yourself together!,” or “Don’t be too full of yourself!” Used by Hiyorin in Lucky Star to remind herself not to imagine Yutaka’s doing outrageous things with Minami. When Konge Donbo posts a new video on Nico Nico Douga, she got yelled “自重しろ” by viewers who thought she should get back to work.

• ～たら死亡　(~tara shibou)
  Means “If …, then you’re out.” Mostly used as titles of video that dare the user to do something. For examples, 好きなツンデレ７人いたら死亡 means “If there are more than 7 tsudere girls you like, then you’re out.” Or つい歌いだしてしまったら死亡３[エロゲー編] means “If you unconciously sing along 3 times, then you’re out. #3 (Eroge edition)” Recent videos are getting more creative at this type of titles. Like, “if you know 50 or more characters in this video, sell your PC” and “if our sense of moe are compatible, donate to Unicef.“

• 釣り (tsuri)
  Literally means “fishing,” or more like “baiting.” Used to describe prank videos with misleading titles and thumbnails. For example, “Seeing Kugimiya Rie at [a train] station, I followed her.” Most videos of this kind have ero titles and thumnails, of course. People who get fished often make fun of themselves by saying　釣られに来ました (I’ve come to be fished!), but, when the video is actually a real deal, they would say　釣られに、あれ？ (I’m come to be …, huh?).

• サムネから (samunekara)
  Means “from the thumbnail.” Say this when you are tempted to watch video because of its thumbnail. For example, this:
