Leaving the building, Negi and the gang use a Chao Bao Zi trolley as cover. But when Negi is about to hop to another cover, he notices that someone is on the other side. Jumping out with intention to attack, Negi discovers that the person is Sister Chakti and receives tidings that almost all of the magic teachers have been wiped out, and Chao is using some kind of special bullet that creates a barrier that make everything contained within disappear. However, before they can properly end their conversation, Chakti is hit by the bullet she is still talking about and disappears. (By the way, I think this is the first time we learn that Chakti is a teacher.) This prompts Kaede to alert everyone that it’s a handy work of a sniper. The gang follows suit by taking cover in the trolley. Continue reading “Mahou Sensei Negima 152: I’ll snipe only you.”
Of course, that was not the real title of the chapter. The real one is: “Charging Completed, Negi Revived!!”
This chapter turns out to be a series of pwnages, shounen style. More pwnages than the fight in Kyoto. Ebil Chao pwns every one, and then got pwned by Misora… (J/K) Continue reading “Mahou Sensei Negima 151: A Series of Pwnages”
The exciting battle between Mahora Gakuen students and Chao’s robot army drags on. Evangeline watches the battle unfolding from afar, herself not participating. 3-A girls are having tremendous fun, with Yuuna’s ranking 28th among all participants. Yes, I finally realize it’s time to get off my lazy ass and give School Rumble the love it deserves.
It is still February, and the night is cold. The Tsukamoto household is struck by a blackout which seems to last long enough to cancel the effect of heaters and make Tenma uncomfortable. As such, she sets out to the warehouse in the backyard in search for a brazier (this is a new word to me), only to find herself unable to get out. Continue reading “School Rumble 189: Sleepless in Seattle”
Well, the real title of the chapter is actually “Welcome Negi Party.”
The attack to the computer system is too much for Nutmeg and the bespectacled sensei to handle. The intruder seems to have slipped through all the defensive programs, and they can’t employ Type 03 Electronic Spirit (What? EVA03?) because the communication is jammed. The intruder can also figure out 12 digits of the access code in a very short amount of time, and this feast makes Nutmeg believe that they are not dealing with a human hacker here.

Negi’s plan is actually to change the annual massively multiplayer event from a ginormous hide-and-seek to a survival shooting game, codename: “Mars Attack vs. Mahora Mage Orger” (Order?). The participants play the role of the mages of Mahora academy who must defend six spots in school from being taken over by an army of robot from Mars.

While hurrying for the root of the World Tree, Negi asks Kamo as to why they are going there. Kamo explains that, according to the 60+ years of data collected by “Loving the World Tree to Our Best of Ability Society” (whose website Kamo asked Chisame to check back 4-5 chapters before), every 22 years the World Tree gives off more light than usual, and on such a year it would continue to radiate until 7-8 days after Mahora Festival. The same thing happens this year (2004). Therefore, Kamo, gambling on the possibility that there is still some magical energy left at the root of the World Tree, decides to lead the Negi Party there, and he’s right. Cassiopeia starts to work again. Continue reading “Mahou Sensei Negima! 145: Time Limit of the Time Machine”
