Kamikyoku in Nico Nico Douga
Nico Nico Douga is such a fun place to be! One of the nice feature is that, just like the doujinshi community, there are so many memes and “good ideas” that people just take, modify, and then republish. Today I’m going to write about a meme in Nico Nico Douga’s music department: kamikyoku. (Or is it “shinkyoku”?) Anyways, the Japanese for this word is 神曲, which literally means “song of God.” A kamikyoku is a song that the video publisher think is so good that it becomes divine.
